Raj roles include working as a GP partner, primary care cardiology lead for the Oxford HIN and national primary care workstream co-lead for the cardiac transformation programme (NHSE). He is also on the national expert advisory groups for lipids, heart attack and heart failure. Raj is the President of the Primary Care Cardiovascular Society, Honorary Visiting Professor at Cardiff University Medical School and works in industry. He has worked as a presenter on BBC Radio and published over 200 articles and several books including the MIMS consultation guide which won the BMA book of the year award in the category of medicine.
